Notes take flight

In a book called The White Hotel, a fellow tries to impress a girl on a train. She's reading a complicated musical score. He asks to take a look, doesn't understand, but says, 'there are lots of crows on the wires'. I was thinking of that when I took this. Initially frustrated that the crows took flight en mass whenever I raised my camera, eventually I let go of the first idea and hoped it would come out alright another way.
